The TacTile can be used for workstation too. A TacTile tablet would be ideal for creative proffessionals who need high fidelity models because it lets you feel beyond the resolution of the screen.
It could be combined with existing pen tablets to give texture and brush feedback or with CAD tools to feel alignment.
Tactile can be used in an entirely different way by allowing new kinds of control that can be used in the dark or without even looking at a screen.
Controls can be imbued wih TacTile so as to have a tactile response such as a click wheel which you can actually feel and manipulate. Perhaps controls with a texture that gives you tactile feedback?
